Getting Started
Once Millennium is installed, you can find its related settings within the Steam user interface.
From the Steam Dropdown in the top-left select Millennium
You can also open Millennium from the steam url:
- steam://millennium -> Open Millennium dialog
- steam://millennium/updates -> Open the Updates tab

Themes
To select a theme for your Steam Client to use, select one from the dropdown in the Themes tab within settings.
If you don't already have any themes, you'll need to install some. Head over to https://steambrew.app/themes and pick out some themes you like.
Installing Themes
- Open Steam with Millennium installed and navigate to https://steambrew.app/themes
- Select a theme you wish to use, click Install, and wait for the process to complete.
- Navigate to Steam Settings -> Themes -> Client Theme and select your newly installed theme.
If you are using the Brave browser, you may have difficulties installing themes out of the box, specifically the website saying you're in preview mode when Steam is open. To fix this, open the Brave ad blocker, and "Allow all trackers & ads"
You can alternatively disable the entire shield for the site.
Plugins
- Open Steam with Millennium installed and navigate to https://steambrew.app/plugins.
- Select a plugin you wish to use, click Download.
- Once prompted to choose a download location, navigate to your Steam plugins folder, which should look something like this: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\plugins'
- Once the file has been installed in your plugins folder, you must extract the zip file into a new folder named after the plugin you installed.
- Navigate to Steam Settings -> Plugins and enable your newly installed plugin. NOTE: You may have to fully restart Steam for the plugin to take affect.
Updates
The updates panel is a simple updater for your installed themes. You can select which themes you want to update from the latest publish version.
